This is a link to a power point presentation I created about Public Relations and India. Since I am half Indian and my fathers side of my family lives in India I visit the country every other year. I have taken countless pictures and traveled all over the country. This power point is a collaboration of pictures I have taken, knowledge about the culture I have acquired though out my travels and information about foreign public relations. Upon the completion of this power point I have presented it to the PRSSA chapter at Roger Williams University. I felt I had a lot of information to share both through personal experience and what I have learned about foreign public relations.

This is a PR plan for a "Zero Homes" green initiative. Myself, and four other members of my Public Relations class in the fall of 2009 created this plan to be implemented. I am very proud of this plan and feel if used it would be successful.

Design Rational:
This is an example of my use with Quark and InDesign. I copied and duplicated this Bind In Blow In card from "PR Week".

"Central Perk" Brochure

This is an example of my ability to create a brochure via the use of the program InDesign. "Central Perk" is a fictional coffee shop made famous by the hit T.V. show "Friends". This coffee shop is located in NYC. I have created a brochure for this coffee shop to depict what it offers to its clients. This brochure includes text, various images, and color gradient. I feel the lay out of the brochure is both enticing and aesthetically pleasing.

Maroon 5 Concert Poster

Design Rational:

This is a concert poster for the band "Maroon 5". I created the poster using both "Photoshop"and "Quark". The background "M" image is from the band's most recent album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long". On either side of the image is lead singer of the band, Adam Levine. Titled at the top of the poster are the names of each band member. The date of the concert along with the location are placed and centered inside the "M" itself. At the bottom of the poster is the name of the band taken from there first album cover, "Songs About Jane." The titled names at the top gravities the eye toward the poster, the image of Adam Lavine on either side of the "M" brings the eyes attention to the details of the concert, and the band's name being the only part of the poster that is in color makes it stand out and therefore memorable to the viewer.

Power Point Assignment - Maroon 5

Design Rational:

This is an example of my use with PowerPoint. Maroon 5 is one of my favorite bands. This pop/rock group includes five young very talented men. The first slide is a cover of the bands album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long". I altered the image in Photoshop so it would appear more textured. The second slide is a collage of pictures I created in Photoshop with important facts of the band appearing on the slide through various forms of animation. Slide three is a picture of their album cover "Songs About Jane" with a full track list and times. I altered the picture in Photoshop as well to make it look darker and more dramatic along with animation of the song list. Slide four is a chart and comparison of all the band members. Slide five concludes the power point with another collage (this was done on power point) and a link to the band's web site for additional information.

Design Rational:
This is an example of my use with Photoshop. This quote by Jimi Hendrix is very thought evoking and emotional. Therefore I choose the fonts and colors of each word to match the importance and feeling the word provokes.
